Finish writing down the fruit vocab on the notecards I handed out. Study your flashcards for tomorrow! Also, read Part 1 of my review packet I passed out. We will go through part 1 in class.
Wednesday, 5/4
Translate the paragraph you wrote in English into Arabic. We will use your translations for class. I will check both your English paragraph and your Arabic translations. I will give a homework grade for both, so bring in your English paragraph and your Arabic translation for class on Wednesday.
Monday, 5/2
Please write one paragraph about yourself in English. Your paragraphs should be at minimum five sentences. You should include biographical information on yourself, similar to what we discussed when we had class in the Majlis. Include the following:
When and where you were born.
Where your parents are from.
How long you have lived in DC.
Three facts about yourself. You can include the adverbs that we have learned in class (always, never, usually, etc.)
We will translate your paragraphs in class, then share in Arabic. See you Monday!
Monday, 4/25
Complete the second page of the handout from Friday. Use the notecards handed out. Copy down each verb and its conjugation, then use each verb in a sentence. Keep each verb in its conjugation on the cover of each notecard. Remember,
ماضي is the past tense, مضارع is the present tense, and مستقبل is the future tense.
Also, here is the only slightly lame video we watched right at the end of class on Friday. You know all the lyrics, in Arabic and I'm sure in English as well! Have a great weekend.
